DIY - Trendy shoelace necklaces

What do you need:

Shoelace ribbon

A charm

Crimp beads with and without a loop and a pair of pointed nose pliers

 

Step 1: Thread the shoelace through the crimp bead with the loop and slide it to the centre of the shoelace.

Step 2: Then slide three crimp beads onto the left side and three onto the right side of the shoelace.

Step 3: You can slide the crimp beads until you are happy with their position.

Step 4: Then slide the larger crimp bead onto the right side of the shoelace.

Step 5: Thread the left side of the shoelace in the opposite direction into the crimp bead and pull both ends together.

Step 6: Open the loop of the middle crimp bead and attach the charm to it.

Step 7: Close the loop again.
