DIY – Spiderweb faceted bead necklace

Get ready for Halloween with this chic spiderweb faceted bead necklace. In this DIY, I’ll show you step by step how to make it yourself. What do you need: - Purple faceted beads - Belcher chain - Silver-coloured bead - Artistic Wire - Eye pin - Jump ring - Ring clasp 00:08 Step 1 First, make a necklace that sits nicely and fairly close around your neck. I’m using the purple faceted beads for this. 00:11 Step 2 Find the centre of the necklace and attach an eye pin with a bead. Bend the end of the eye pin into a loop. Repeat until you have attached seven eye pins, evenly spaced along the necklace. 00:45 Step 3 Cut the Belcher chain to size and attach it to the eye-pin loops. Drape the Belcher chain in neat curves across the necklace. 01:25 Step 4 Now create the next row. Attach a jump ring above each bead and connect the Belcher chain to it. Create neat curves again to gradually form a spiderweb. 01:44 Step 5 Time for the spider! Cut four short pieces of Artistic Wire and use round nose pliers to make a loop in the centre of each piece. Thread a small bead, the four loops and a large bead onto a head pin. Use the One-Step Looper to create a loop at the end and attach a piece of Belcher chain to it.
