Trend 1: Poetic traditional classic

This ultra-feminine style will conquer the hearts of many women. You could describe this style as romantic with an innovative yet classic edge. Does that still sound a bit unclear? We are happy to explain it to you.

The origin of this trend lies in traditions. Think of British classics such as hunting, school uniforms, horse riding and outdoor sports. This will probably give you a better picture. Combine this with romantic, feminine forms and materials, and you find 'Poetic Traditional Classic'. In terms of materials, think, for instance about freshwater pearls, belcher chains, metal, stainless steel, brass metal, crystal glass and zirconia. To be 'on trend', you can add creole earrings, layered necklaces with meaningful charms (such as a cross, heart or initial). Also, think about rings with large stones, brooches, choker necklaces, hair accessories with pearls and long earrings.

Romantic combined with a classic English style will give this trend something new. Get inspired!

Trend 2: New classical

This trend is all about the classic style combined with new futuristic influences. This gives you a beautiful combination that is called 'New Classical'.

The origin of this trend lies in science fiction movies, costume clothing and royal history. What does this have to do with a jewellery collection? Once you understand where the current trends come from, it will help you buy your collection and convey the right feeling to your customers. The materials that fit this trend include holographic, gold and silver (foil), metallics, strass, large belcher chain, big pearls, big beads and transparency. Elongated and asymmetrical shapes also fit perfectly with this trend, and we will see a lot of them this winter. How do you translate these materials to jewellery? By creating large, long earrings with the mentioned materials, chokers with large beads, long necklaces, rings with belcher chains and natural stone beads and charms.

Trend 3: Sensual powerful

Sensual and feminine combined with power and strength! That's what this trend stands for.
This trend is inspired by goddesses, elegance, draperies, silhouettes, sculptures and femininity.

This trend can be translated to round and organic shapes. Think for instance, about rhinestones, stainless steel belcher chains with round/oval forms and freshwater pearls. You can use these to make bracelets with large chains, statement rings, big earrings, jewellery with rhinestones, chockers, bracelets for over your sleeves and jewellery with round shapes around your arm. The jewellery you will design according to this trend is large jewellery with round shapes; real statement pieces.

Trend 4: Spirited comfort

The last trend of the four: 'Spirited Comfort'. The name says it all, comfortable, but with a meaning.

The origin of this trend can be found in mythology, spirituality, philosophy, nature worship, religion, Shamanism, Wicca and Eastern rituals. Think about feeling safe and comfortable in your own bubble. Materials that match this style are for example, ceramic, natural stone, acrylic chain, resin, leather, suede and cotton. These are all materials from nature. The shapes that fit this trend are round shapes but also asymmetric shapes with meaning. Do you want to make jewellery according to this trend? Get to work and start making meaningful jewellery, using for instance the Birth Flower collection or C.U.S® collection, meaningful charms, amulets, horoscope items, stars, moons, birthstones, natural stone beads with a meaning, mix & match jewellery and initials.
