DIY - Statement necklace
What do you need:
Crimping pliers
Cutter
Nose pliers
Metal wire
Beads
Gold stainless steel beads
Clasp and extension chain
Crimp bead covers
Wire protectors
Charm
Jump rings
Crimp beads
Bead board
Step 1: Cut a piece of wire approximately 50 cm long.
Step 2: We start by attaching the clasp. Thread your jump ring through the clasp and do the same with the extension chain.
Step 3: Slide the crimp bead onto the wire.
Step 4: Thread the wire through the wire protector and thread the clasp through its opening.
Step 5: Thread the wire back through the wire protector and crimp bead.
Step 6: Crimp the crimp bead closed with the crimping pliers.
Step 7: Crimp the crimp bead cover over the crimp bead.
Step 8: Determine the order of your necklace on the bead board.
Step 9: Thread the beads onto the wire.
Step 10: Slide the crimp bead onto the wire. Thread the wire through the wire protector and thread the extension chain through the opening of the wire protector.
Step 11: Thread the wire back through the wire protector and crimp bead.
Step 12: Crimp your crimp bead closed and place the crimp bead cover over it.
Step 13: Cut off the remaining piece of wire and then thread the protruding wire back through the beads.
Step 14: Attach the charm to the necklace's centre using a jump ring.
