Today I’ll show you two different ways to use a crimp bead. Method 1: 00:07 Step 1: Thread the metal wire through the crimp bead. 00:09 Step 2: Grip the crimp bead with the tip of the needle-nose pliers and squeeze firmly. Check that the crimp bead is securely attached to the metal wire. This is an easy way to close a crimp bead. Method 2: 00:23 Step 1: Thread the metal wire through the crimp bead. 00:25 Step 2: The pliers have two openings. We use the second opening to close the crimp bead. Place the crimp bead in the second opening and squeeze the pliers. 00:36 Step 3: Now that the crimp bead is closed, we’ll shape it into a neat round bead. Turn the crimp bead a quarter turn to the left so it stands upright. 00:46 Step 4: Hold the crimp bead in the first opening of the pliers and squeeze firmly. This step folds the crimp bead inward and forms it into a round bead. These were two ways to use crimp beads.
