DIY - How to cut different types of belcher chain
What do you need:

Belcher chain
-
Round nose pliers
-
Curved pointed pliers
-
Jewellery pliers
Belcher chain 1:
Step 1: Cut the belcher chain with jewellery pliers.
Step 2: Bend the cut link open.
Step 3: Remove the cut link.
Belcher chain 2:
Step 1: Hold the longer part of the links with the round-nose pliers.
Step 2: Bend the link away from you until it comes apart.
Step 3: Squeeze the link closed again for future use.
Belcher chain 3:
Step 1: Hold both sides of the link using two pairs of pliers.
Step 2: Bend the link so that both ends move farther apart. This will separate the links.
Step 3: Bend the last link securely closed for future use.
Belcher chain 4:
Step 1: Hold a link on both sides with two pairs of pliers.
Step 2: Bend the link open.
Step 3: Remove the link from the rest of the chain.
Step 4: Bend the link closed again for future use.
Belcher chain 5:
Step 1: Cut through the chain with jewellery pliers.
Step 2: To cut it completely, you might need to cut the same spot a few times. Each cut will release a layer of the chain.
Step 3: Give it one last cut!
